N. Potidea is the unique way to access the Peninsula of Kassandra.The magic canal is an unforgettable sight. Boats, including dragnet boats and boats with acetylene lamps cross daily its water and always return full of fresh fish.
The village has 1601 habitants who at summer time come up to 3000. There is an organized and beautiful beach, where the tourists can enjoy the sea and taste fresh fish, as there are many fish taverns in the region.
Up in the villages hill there is the picturesque church of Virgin Mary, which celebrates on the 23d August.
