Nireas has two centers; one in Thessaloniki which is open all year for courses and information and the other in the Porto Carras Grand Resort 2km away from the lively little town of Marmaras on the second "leg" of Halkidiki.

Open since 1982 and with the PADI Certificate of Recognition we are the most longstanding dive centre in all of North Greece. Just a gentle 90 minute drive from Thessaloniki will bring you to an area endowed with some of the most beautiful scenery ..., azure waters and sandy beaches ..., this is where the Greeks choose to come on holiday!

Our director has over 20 years of experience and is trained to teach exciting specialities such as deep diving, cave diving, boat/ drift/ night and wall diving. The photography and nitrox dive courses are specialities in which you can use the latest, top of the range, equipment.

All PADI and CMAS courses are available, starting whenever you want!

Once below the blue waters you will have the chance to interact with jack fish, large groupers, moray eels, lobsters, octopus, seahorses and tunas being amongst a few. Whether this is your first time diving or you are an experienced diver, you cannot fail to be impressed, especially when the visibility is on average 20-30metres.

Wrecks are something that fascinates most people. Dive with us and we can show you two wrecks both at reasonable depths not making this experience out of bounds for beginners!! One Turkish wreck is found at a maximum depth of 22m, and the "Mitilini" is at a max depth of 25m. On special request groups can be organized to explore an ANCIENT wreck which unfortunately is restricted to those with
an ADVANCED level of certification.
